Oh, Mother Mullein. How I love her so.
Mullein is one of the most commonly noticeable wild foraged herbs thanks to her large and wooly leaves and her second year tall flowering stalk. Mullein (Verbascum thapsus) is a biennial plant. The first year you will find it a bit small and low to the ground and the second year it will begin with much larger leaves and grow up a large flowering stalk. Mullein can be found around the world and in every herbalists apothecary. The medicinal uses range far and wide with extensive uses in tuberculosis and respiratory ailments. It can be tinctured, used for tea, and even smoked. Every part of the mullein plant can be used and is used by myself and so many others.
Some of the benefits and uses of mullein include
Antioxidant

I don’t know many other plants that can do so much and still be such a gentle giant.
